Today i wanted to go further, so i asked a friend to request me something that i could make using pixel art. Here is the result ๐ (The character's name is Tamaki Suoh).
Early designs for Flagship stickers/posters I made last year. Ultimately didnโt go with them, but they informed the final design (and the art for cdn.hackclub.com)
Guess who's got their kayaking certification? Meeee, I completely fluked that "assessment" and now it's "safe" for me to kayak. I am a one star kayaker, I honestly didn't know you needed a certification to kayak so this weekend took an unexpected turn but was certainly one fun experiment! Also had fish and chips from this very British fish and chips shop, yumm

Today I worked on the UI of my CodeLabs project's admin dashboard and fixed a crucial bug, getting close to the finish line! I might even get the admin dashboard done tomorrow
Also loads of hardware grants stuff done, was up super late last night reviewing about 100 applications, but we did it! โ

I painted again, this time with gouache! This ~is~ was my dorm room view before coronatimes, F. After this I ate a mango ๐ฅญ and now Iโm going to try to watch a few lectures before I sleep
sketched the plant in my living room! itโs native to India, and has these really cool leaves that run with pink streaks as it grows. my grandpa ~smuggled~ brought it as a root to the states and itโs grown quite sizable since then
๐๏ธ I'm not sure if this is the correct category to post this art in, or if this would be considered an art at all. What's special about this drawing is that it was drawn just by using straight lines.
It was drawn on a CNC pen plotter/drawing machine that I made. So, no actual drawing skill from me. However, this particular drawing took me a really long time to generate GCodes for. It was a process of using multiple photo editors to create the perfect grey-scale image of this photo of my favorite singer. Then using multiple GCode generating software to find out what generates the best GCode for my machine, and modifying the final GCode using a text editor to make sure everything will work. After 3-4 failed attempts, it took over 9 hours for this just one drawing (I fell asleep) and it consists of more than 4000 straight lines if I remember correctly.
Made some art for art week it's a nebula, I made it with paint and a toothbrush, I'm pretty happy with it! ๐จ
Also today the student council hosted our first session with the kids at the rainbow center, had some fun over Zoom together
Worked on my CodeLabs project, made the admin dashboard with Flask.
And finishing off the day doing Hardware Party stuff

Nah, I had to i n t e n s i f y it far beyond reason. Also, I enjoy harsh shadows. huhuhu
Just recently, I got procreate as I love digital #art and graphic design... I am near finishing one artwork (just a doodle) and have only the text left. I need some ideas, so please lmkkk
today was a good day for #rapid. I finally managed to get all the realtime connections sorted out (now I just need to implement!), Eleeza made an absolutely beautiful work of art for me, and iโm finally happy thanks to @ktm!
Okay, so as a person who likes fashion and dress up nicely, I decided to do 2 looks. It's pretty much reflecting both sides of me, a nice one and the one is ready to protect you if you get hurt
relaxing day with high level discussions around clubs. planning out the move to stripe issuing. draw some space stuff ๐ with sharpie pens that @christina695 picked up at the art store (thank you!).

Hi! today i made le planning for an acrylic piece I want to do in the near future! it's an ode to the tight knit friendgroup i've had over hs and the dope ass memories we've shared. the background is my best friend's backyard. we set up the place w incandescent lightbulbs and it was str8 ~ vibin ~ as we blasted music and played ping pong all night. the foreground in the reflection of the lightbulb is us chillin in Central Park. i haven't told em im making it and i wanna surprise em with it once i make the fully rendered acrylic :))
I continued manufacturing face shields for special ed teachers today. I spent a while testing and adjusting the speeds and feeds until I was satisfied, then cut out a bunch of the shields. The only bit I have is an upcut end mill, so I need to use a paint stick and vacuum to hold the material down as it cuts.
When I googled Orpheus, I found that orpheus is an musician mythological character in greek. So, to make my orpheus meaninful, I tried to make an Musican Orpheus with headphones. hehe hope you like it.
